About Me

Braden is a passionate performer, educator, and clinician with a versatile background in Classical, Chamber, Jazz, and Contemporary music. He has performed as a featured soloist and member of ensembles at the University of Utah, Snow College, and Utah Valley University. He also maintains an active freelancing schedule and has performed with groups including the Salt Lake Symphony, Intermezzo Chamber Series, Central Utah Orchestra and Chorale, Sanpete Jazz Messangers, Trent Hanna Community, and more.

Braden enjoys teaching music at Viewpoint Middle School and Lehi Jr. Highschool. He also maintains a private studio and is a frequent guest clinician and sectional coach at band programs across the Salt Lake City, and Utah County areas.

Braden holds a B.M. in Commercial Music from Snow College and an M.M. in Trumpet Performance from the University of Utah. His primary trumpet instructors include Dr. Peyden Shelton, Travis Peterson, Paul Torrisi, Dr. Ryan Nielson, Dr. David Blackinton, and Dr. Matt Leder.
